In the southern part of Bangalore lies the Lal Bagh which is a horticulture garden of sorts. It has a diversity of trees and plants as well as the remnants of the old watchtowers. There is a Crystal Palace inside the garden which is a superb glasshouse built in 1889.

Cubbon Park, Government Museum, Bangalore Palace, Nandi Hills, and Narasimha Temple are other places of popular tourist interest in Bangalore.
